Venue hire

The Botanical Garden on request provides some of its internal and external spaces for initiatives and events of various kinds. The granting of these spaces is governed by a regulation and is subject to a rate card. Requests for authorization must be sent normally 30 days before the event or the start of installations. The Sistema Museale di Ateneo, in authorizing events, will give priority to initiatives of high scientific and cultural value and to subjects that promote arts and culture. The organization of initiatives with commercial and / or promotional purposes and, in any case, not scientific or cultural like weddings, must take place outside the opening hours to the public or at most without interfering with the usability of spaces and services intended to visitors.

The revenues deriving from the concession fees are used for the maintenance and development of exhibition routes, for the implementation of educational and cultural activities and for the enhancement of the historical, artistic and natural heritage of the Botanical Garden. Interior spaces

The Botanical Garden has a room for conferences, congresses, meetings and concerts with many modern multimedia equipment. It is equipped with about 100 seats and inside there's also a grand piano.

Sala Tineo is located near the entrance and is the most representative exhibition space of the Botanical Garden. Structured on two levels, it consists of a large room of 135 square meters. It's equipped in total with 44 large windows of about 1.45 x 2.00 meters of width oriented vertically and as many smaller horizontal.

Outdoor spaces

Some areas of the Botanical Garden are available for the conduct of events, banquets, fashion shows, weddings or other special events. Among these, the square Ucria (Gymnasium) and the one in front of the Serra Carolina. Are also available around the Aquarium and the area of the great Ficus and Piazzale delle Palme. The use of these spaces is regulated by a specific rate card.
